Product Description
This cube illustrates the paintings of modern italian artist Dario Cusani. Dario Cusani was born in Naples (Italy) in 1948, and now lives in Rome. These two cities divide his life into two distinct periods. His years in Naples, marked by his work at the family copper works, for which he was sent to study economics. He had to quit his piano studies, which he had begun at age nine, to attend the military school, which coincided with his newfound interest in painting since drawing was the only course which he excelled in. In 1985, Cusani abandoned the world of business for art, moving to Rome with his family - wife Marinella, Luigi, Chiara and Cristina. From that moment on, his artistic research exploded, expelling all the negative energy that it had absorbed. Yet, it was also a tiring effort to start, at a later age, in a completely new world. Memory of the past and a wealth of knowledge in the life of each one of us, was the basis upon which Cusani worked, with the use of modern technology including computer graphics and photo/painting montages. Includes full color storycard with bio and descriptions in English and Italian.
